From Chairperson’s Desk

“….March ahead O march ahead youth of Rainbow march ahead
For God’s glory and the country, we will always march ahead….”

Inspite of great efforts made by India in the field of Education, there are many obstacles that limit the quality of education. Education entails bringing out what already exists in an individual. At our school, we focus on what Swami Vivekanand said, “Education is the manifestation of perfection already present in man”.

We believe that if we equipe our students with skills, we will enable them for a lifetime knowledge is largely forgotten once the semester exams get over. Many teachers and parents try to potters, viewing the child as clay to be molded. However, I wonder why they cannot be gardeners for the child, trying to bring out the potential already present in him. It is imperative that we realize that memorizing is not learning. It is a dire need to reward creativity and innovation.

We may have the maximum number of engineers in the world but that had certainly not led to much technology innovation. The objective should be to create innovators, scientists, thinkers and writers who can strengthen the foundation of knowledge. And, this is one of the key reasons why we aim to get bright and sharp intellects in our school to teach, praise innovation, impart physical training and build values in students to make them great leaders and competent learners.
