Rainbow Academy Senior Secondary School proudly hosted VyaghRAM2024, its annual Rainbow Athletic Meet, on 30th December 2024. The event was a spectacular showcase of sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination, bringing together students from different classes to compete in various athletic and cultural performances.
Inaugural Ceremony
The grand opening began with the introduction of RAM, the mascot, and the Environment Soldiers, symbolizing strength, agility, and environmental awareness. The esteemed Chief Guest Padmashri Anup Sha ji was warmly welcomed, followed by an auspicious Saraswati Vandana, setting a spiritual tone for the day.
The Chairperson’s welcome speech motivated students to embrace sports with enthusiasm, and the school choir mesmerized the audience with a melodious Welcome Song. The Flag Hoisting was conducted alongside the singing of the School Song, officially marking the commencement of RAM 2024.
The Lighting of the Olympic Torch was a moment of pride, symbolizing the eternal flame of sportsmanship. This was followed by a March Past, where house captains and vice-captains led their teams with synchronized precision, culminating in the solemn Oath-Taking Ceremony, reinforcing values of fairness and dedication.
Energetic Performances & Athletic Events
The sporting events began with Drill Performances by tiny tots, displaying their discipline and coordination. A series of yoga performances across different categories (I-IV, V-VIII, IX-XII) showcased the students’ dedication to physical and mental well-being.
Students of Classes VI-XII infused energy into the ground with a Zumba Performance, while young athletes displayed remarkable strength in the Obstacle Races (KG & I-IV) and the thrilling Push the Strength competition (KG & I-IV).
Adding a cultural touch to the event, Kumauni Dance (IX-XII) and Choliya Dance (VII-XI) mesmerized the audience, reflecting the rich heritage of Uttarakhand. Aerobics (I-V) further energized the atmosphere with synchronized movements.
The thrill of competitive sports reached its peak with Sprint Races (100m, 200m, Relay) for VIII-XII and V-VII, where students raced towards the finish line with determination and speed.
Closing Ceremony
As the event drew to a close, the Manager Sir delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, appreciating the efforts of students, teachers, and staff in making RAM 2024 a grand success. The meet concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
A Celebration of Strength, Skill, and Spirit

The joyous festival of Christmas was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cheer at Rainbow Academy Senior Secondary School on 25th December 2024. The school campus was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, lights, and festive ornaments, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.
The celebration began with a melodious Group Song by our Kindergarten students, who charmed everyone with their rendition of the classic carol, “Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell.” Their performance was full of innocence and enthusiasm, setting the perfect tone for the festivities.
Next, the students of Classes I to III took the stage with a vibrant Group Dance that showcased their energy and creativity, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.
Adding to the festive spirit, the senior students of Class XII performed a soulful Group Song that captivated everyone and reminded us of the true essence of Christmas—love, kindness, and togetherness.
The highlight of the day was the appearance of Santa Claus, portrayed by Kushagra Agarwal, who, along with our esteemed Chairperson, visited each class to distribute toffees and spread happiness. 3. Electronic Voting:
To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, electronic voting was conducted using an app designed by Bhavesh, a talented student from XII Science. Students cast their votes for the Head Boy, Head Girl, as well as the Captains and Vice-Captains of different houses.
The day was not only filled with spirited competitions but also served as a platform for students to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, and creativity. Congratulations to all the participants and winners for making the day a memorable one!
Inter-House Quiz Competition and Fun Races Recap (2024-2025)

Inter-House Quiz Competition:
The intellectual prowess of our students was on full display during the Inter-House Quiz Competition held on April 27, 2024. Four houses, Achievers, Blazers, Challengers, and Determiners, engaged in a battle of wits across two categories: Junior (Class V – VIII) and Senior (Class IX – XII).
In the Junior category, young minds showcased their knowledge and quick thinking, answering a wide array of questions spanning various subjects. The competition was fierce, with each house demonstrating remarkable teamwork and determination. Ultimately, the Challengers House emerged victorious, securing the first position with their exceptional performance.
In the Senior category, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation as students from Classes IX to XII competed for the coveted title. The depth of their understanding and critical thinking abilities was evident as they tackled complex questions with confidence. After a closely contested battle, the Challenger House claimed the top spot, showcasing their intellect and strategic thinking.
Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication, and a special commendation to the winning house i.e Challengers House, for their outstanding performance.
Fun Races:
While the Quiz Competition tested the students’ mental ability, the Fun Races added an element of excitement and laughter to the event. Participants from Classes I to IV showcased their physical prowess and sportsmanship in the Sack Race and Lemon Race.
In the Sack Race, young athletes hopped and bounded towards the finish line with infectious enthusiasm, while in the Lemon Race, their balancing skills were put to the test as they skillfully maneuvered with a lemon placed on a spoon.
The joy and camaraderie displayed during these races were a testament to the vibrant spirit of our school community, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and healthy competition.

(SCIENCE,ART & CRAFT EXHIBITION)
RAINBOW ACADEMY organized an Art and Craft Exhibition “Rejuvenance’23” on 16.12.2023.
This exhibition was dedicated to serve the humanity with a theme “Science with ethics” and also a tribute to the obligations towards mother nature “Sustainability”.
Our enthusiastic young talents came up with various working models including “suggesting solutions” for solid waste management viz. “WASTE SEGREGATOR” and “Sewage Disposal & Treatment Plant”.
At Rainbow Academy, students grow up with understanding of Creativity and Imagination through all the activities on a daily basis. The idea is not only to encourage children to use their imagination but also help them in understanding Life and Nature as a whole.
This becomes more important when it comes to Art & Craft from splashes of vibrant hues, different types of paintings, sketched portraits, paper flowers, articles made of paper and Eco-friendly material which bring out the best creativity of our students.
Above integrity was depicted with great amount of enthusiasm by our students as also the Parents. It was remarkable and heartening amazing to see the amazing response.
Our Budding Artists presented many creative ideas which left all the viewers dumb struck and full of praise for the talent on display.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
(15 AUGUST 2023)
The Independence Day was celebrated with great joy, and enthusiasm at RAINBOW ACADEMY SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL.
On this day, the students decorated the whole school campus with paper garlands made by them. They also decorated the school stage with different hand made decorative items.
Chairperson, Mrs. Ruchi Sharma, hoisted the National flag and the students sang National Anthem together. A cultural program was also held where students sang, danced and delivered speeches.
Students also played a skit, based on the theme “सर्वधर्म एकता” that is “All dharma/faiths are possible”. The whole school was filled with the spirit of patriotism.
Mrs. Ruchi Sharma made a small but inspiring speech and told us the significance of day Mrs.Ruchi Sharma thanked all the students and staff for making the day so memorable.
The program concluded with the distribution of sweets.

- This ceremony will act as a catalyst for the entire student body, inspiring all of you to strive for excellence and embrace your potential as leaders.
- The Investiture ceremony was recognised was organised at RAINBOW ACADEMY SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL on 22/July/2023. The ceremony unfolded in the conference hall, emanating an air of anticipation and excitement. All the students eagerly awaited for the commencement of the event, their eyes gleaming with pride and hope & the whole ambience was filled with reverence & commitment to the school’s values.
- As the ceremony commenced, the chairperson Mrs. Ruchi Sharma took the podium to address the student council. In her speech, she emphasized the significance of leadership & the leadership & the responsibilities associated with it. Her motivational words ignited a fire within the hearts of the newly appointed leaders, fostering a spirit of determination & resilience.
- As the newly appointed leaders donned their badges of honour, promise of a brighter future illuminated the hall, responsible individuals who will go on to make a positive impact on society
